Y.V. Ramadas dead

BANGALORE: Educationist and theatre person Y.V. Ramadas (88) died here on Monday, after a brief illness.
Ramdas, who was the principal of BMS Engineering College for 45 years, served as a trustee of the college after retirement.
He was active in the theatre field for about 30 years ago, and was a popular stage artiste.
In 1962, he was honoured with the best actor award by the then Prime Minister late Jawaharlal Nehru at New Delhi.
